SOT 50th Anniversary Benchmarks Poster and Hall Banners

Honored to be selected by the NIEHS communication director to design a poster and a series of exhibition hall banners for the 2011 Society of Toxicology's annual conference in Washington, DC. The project commemorated the Society's 50th Anniversary. This poster illustrates some of the influential people, innovations, discoveries, and events that have expanded our understanding of Toxicology. The project began with an open call to the SOT members to describe what defines their craft. Ultimately, more than 200 nominations were received from 123 scientists. Not only was the poster distributed in tubes, the design folded to 8.5x11 inches for insertion into the conference packets and direct mail. The hall banners were displayed in a linear configuration down the central entrance hall.
